Vatican Radio presents its App for iPhone with a strong multimedia identity.
News, editorials, live videos, web text, audio channels, all contained in a single app
that lets you follow the Pope’s activities in real time.
The App is free of charge and the initial version is available in English and Italian.
The application opens onto the Agenda of the Pope’s public appointments. A system
called Vatican TIC, devised and produced by Vatican Radio, lets you access all
the text and audio content associated with each event. The Agenda tells you in real
time about papal celebrations broadcast live and produced in collaboration with the
Vatican Television Centre. The texts of the Pope’s discourses are also available, as
published on www.vatican.va.
The App also offers a News service that includes the latest information concerning
the Church and the World, broadcast by Vatican Radio’s news programmes. The
Radio section contains five audio channels corresponding to the network of over 70
daily programmes in 40 languages produced by Vatican Radio. The same channels
are used for FM, AM, Short Wave and Satellite broadcasts.
This is Vatican Radio’s first version of this App. We promise to continue doing our
best to improve and update. Stay with us.

Please fix the times in the agenda. It says to me that the angelus will start in 20 minutes, but it has actually ended 3 hours ago. Make the app synchronized with the time of the phone, not the local of the event. Thanks.
If you are looking for real news, not fake news, then you are in the right place. If you are seeking not only answers as to why the news is the way it is but solutions to how to respond to the real news, then this is the app for you.
Live stuff that I would not have been able to see otherwise.
This app is flawed from the start when one cannot listen to the content in the background, and no other functions are possible without loss of audio programming. Maybe a year from today 9-6-13 it will work?....... A 3 out of 10.
I enjoy this app especially checking out whats happening at the Vatican. The webcams have looked like theyve needed cleaning for awhile but now arent working at all. Please fix them. It is so nice to feel connected to Rome and our Pope!
